If I can

This heart bursting with melodies, melodies of praise, melodies of my heartstrings.
On the mountain tops and in the valleys, I still can't stop looking up at Your glory.
God, you are faithful, so faithful.

Even in the waiting, even when I'm impatient and striving, You're there.

It was never about me performing, but just responding.
If I can, I would, I will seek out and constantly be aware of Your presence in my life.
You're in the great visions as well as in the details.
Every part of my life, You're there.

I remember this year on my birthday, I wrote that I want to venture into higher mountains and deeper valleys. Although I wrote it when I was at the summit of my previous season, but never once I regret that prayer. It was the best thing ever.
It became an anchor that keeps my soul still from the fears and anxieties of this season.

There is so much I'm looking forward to this season.
So many changes, so many adjustments, so many hard lessons but the best of all is deeper intimacy in all my relationships.

Learning to love better and well. Learning to be honest to what's happening in me, acknowledging my desires and feelings for certain people and things, and the greatest lesson of them all is to never be ashamed of it.

My thoughts are all over the place.
My heart is beating fast.
It's the middle of the night and yet all these things are just overflowing out of my being.

I know You're here.
I know this is 'THE' season.
I know that something great is going to happen and I'm just so excited about it!

God, surprise me.
