The Truth

The older you get, the more you know the importance of the relationships with family & friends.
To be honest, I'm not very good in friendships, especially the 'maintaining' part is where I'm very weak of.
But I'm very blessed because God put very special people in my life, teaching me and guiding me through the journey.
I was inspired by one of the scripture,

Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise. —Proverbs 11:29

"One of the greatest resources God gives us is the family. Families provide acceptance, encouragement, guidance, and counsel. Bringing trouble on your family—whether through anger or exaggerated desire for independence—is foolish because you cut yourself off from all they provide. In your family, strive for healing, communication, and understanding."

It's a whole new lesson for me!

Especially after I started watching Duck Dynasty only did I realize, the word family meant more than a feeling.

It's a relationship.
It's a commitment.
It's a place where we learn to grow.
